We are thrilled to share some incredible news — our founder, Yvonne, has been inducted into the 2025 Victorian Honour Roll of Women!

This prestigious program celebrates the remarkable achievements of Victorian women and the many ways they’ve made lasting contributions to our state.

Since its establishment in 2001, just over 750 women have been recognised, and this year Yvonne proudly joins 23 other amazing women in being honoured.

Yvonne Hong from Pets Of The Homeless stands with her mum proudly holding her Victorian Honour Roll of Women 2025 award at the ceremony venue, celebrating her recognition as a Local Champion.

Yvonne has been recognised in the Local Champion category.

A fitting tribute to her tireless work building Pets Of The Homeless and ensuring that no one has to choose between their pet and their own wellbeing.

For Yvonne, this honour carries an extra layer of meaning.

Having migrated to Australia from Malaysia 22 years ago, she sees it as a symbol of being wholeheartedly embraced by her adopted home.

We are so proud to be celebrating Yvonne's well-deserved recognition! You can read more on Yvonne’s Honour Roll profile via the below:
