If you’re planning an in-person event and intend to collect donations directly, you’ll need to complete a short application to obtain authority to fundraise on our behalf.
We’re always here to help ensure everything runs smoothly and can provide logos, approved text and resources to help make your fundraiser a success. Please email us at fundraising@petsofthehomeless.org.au for more information.

I’m hosting an in-person event but want guests to donate online — what’s the best option?
If you’re hosting an in-person event and plan to ask guests to donate online by sharing a QR code at the event or by sharing a donation link, the best option is to set up an online fundraising page using our templates.
If your event involves collecting cash only, you’ll need to complete our Authority to Fundraise form to register the event with us. This ensures that we’re aware your event is taking place and allows us to provide appropriate guidance and support, while making sure your fundraising aligns with the values and mission of Pets Of The Homeless.
If you’re unsure which option applies to your event, please get in touch at fundraising@petsofthehomeless.org.au and we’re happy to help.
Can I use the Pets Of The Homeless logo to promote my fundraiser?
Yes — with our guidance. We’re happy for approved fundraisers to use the Pets Of The Homeless logo, provided it’s used in line with our brand guidelines.
Our brand guidelines outline how the logo should be displayed to ensure it’s used correctly and consistently. Please get in touch with us before using the logo so we can provide the correct files and guidance.
Will you help to promote my fundraiser or share it on your social media pages?
We love seeing the creative ways our supporters fundraise for Pets Of The Homeless. However, as we have many fundraisers running at any given time, we’re unable to share individual fundraising pages or events on our social media channels.
That said, we’re always happy to provide approved logos, wording and tips to help you promote your fundraiser through your own networks.
If you're setting up your own online fundraising page, the terms and conditions are part of the set up process.
If you're hosting your own fundraiser and accepting cash donations, you can find those terms and conditions here.
Previous Fundraisers
Delphi and George
Delphi and her gorgeous rescue cat George decided to raise money for Pets Of The Homeless by making gorgeous handmade bracelets and necklaces and sold them for $2 each, raising an amazing total of $120.90. Pets Of The Homeless is very close to Delphi’s heart and she was so happy to be able to contribute in some way.
Chris
Embarking on his first ever Melbourne Marathon, Chris decided to raise funds for a cause close to his heart. He witnessed the financial pressures people were facing, and recognised how important those emotional bonds were between people and their pets when they were facing tough times. “It makes me happy to represent a great charity that helps those who need a bit of support so they are able to still provide for their animals.”
Bernie
It's always nice to do something memorable for a milestone birthday - maybe a dream holiday or a tattoo. Bernie decided to go one better and make a difference in the lives of people and pets who need a helping hand. Instead of presents she asked her family and friends to donate to Pets Of The Homeless and raised an impressive $475!
Fletcher and Jax
“We picked Pets Of The Homeless because we wanted the boys to realise that not everyone is as fortunate as us. We are an animal loving family, and love what Pets Of The Homeless does for so many people, so we decided to do a chocolate fundraiser and have raised over $500.”
- Fletcher and Jax’s mum
Your efforts will make a big impact
By fundraising for Pets Of The Homeless you will be ensuring that vulnerable people will be able to feed their pet, access necessary veterinary treatment and a secure shelter for their beloved pet until they can be reunited.
You name it, our community has probably done it. Fundraisers have proven there’s no mountain too high or no haircut is too wild.
Now it’s your turn. What will you do?
