Elderly man gently kissing his orange tabby cat while lying on a bed, showcasing the deep emotional bond between humans and their pets. The image reflects compassion, love, and the importance of keeping people and pets together during tough times.

When we saw this photo of Tony and his beloved cat Frank, it made total sense.

Tony and his wife Annie have been wonderful supporters for some time, so we were deeply moved to learn that they’d made a decision that would impact the lives of countless vulnerable people and pets facing tough times. A selfless legacy that would last beyond their own lives. They had decided to include a gift in their Will to Pets Of The Homeless (POTH).

“We live very modestly, so we are not leaving money to POTH because we have so much we don't know what to do with it,” Annie told us.

“It took us a couple of years to carefully research charities. We only wanted to invest in charities with a board and a plan - and to strategise how our legacies could be used to help both people and animalsWhat is the point of money unless it can be used for good?”

Annie and Tony’s compassion was the driving force behind their decision.

“We admire your work, and we regard homelessness, for whatever reason, as a worst possible situation for anyone, and think it can happen to anyone too — to all living creatures,” Annie shared.

“We will be donating after we are gone, believing your organisation will continue into the future, helping people and their animals through difficult times.”

This is your opportunity to plant a seed and ensure that you will continue to make an impact for years to come.
