I'm raising funds to help keep vulnerable people and pets together during tough times
##This is important to me because I work with vulnerable people and have heard heartbreaking stories about people not being able to afford vet treatments for their loved ones while they're already going through tough times. I've helped people move from DV situations and seen how frightened their pets are after surviving abusive households and watching their humans struggle to get out of poverty. I've seen people lose their health and luxuries and end up on the street (with their pets) and all it took was a few missed paychecks.
I'm currently raising money for animal rescues in Australia by selling my art work in an exchange for a donation to the rescues I support. Check out my Facebook page of you're interested in my art, I consider the cost of postage in my prices. My list of rescues I fundraise for is ever growing because times are extremely tough.
I've contacted vet clinics all over Australia but not many are able to help with my fundraising idea so I came across this group and am glad I did. This means a lot to me and I am incredibly thankful for any support I can get...

Pets Of The Homeless recognises the deep bond between vulnerable people and their pets, and during times of crisis, they work to ensure that this bond is never broken due to a lack of essential pet care resources. By helping these pets, they are assisting their guardians to get back on their feet. Their efforts also reduce the number of healthy pets who are surrendered to shelters and potentially euthanised due to lack of resources or options.
